We’ve created this blog as a place to share stories: detailed accounts of how God interacts with us in ordinary, real life.
In a culture saturated with social media we publicly make known the highlights of our day or the sorrows of our souls in single phrased tweets or carefully crafted facebook posts. Behind the brief status updates, however are deeper, detailed stories- ones we rarely get a chance to tell. And behind our short stories lie a greater plot being revealed by a supreme being : “the” story of a God who desires to reconcile man to Himself.
If it’s true that we are all created in God’s image, then His fingerprints are evident in each of us. We cannot get a full picture of who He is without seeing His beauty in each other. We need to hear each other’s stories -stories of the kingdom of God among us- to encourage us in our belief that HE is real. We each have a story to tell. The GLORY of God is revealed through His people telling HIS stories.
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. I Peter 2:9
